Love these shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and these are very comfortable and do not hurt my feet at all.

This is my second pair indifferent color. I purchased a lite grey pair for my orthotic insole. I wanted a darker color for winter, so I ordered the black. This work well with the insoles and very comfortable. I have plantar fasciitis since May of 2017, tried everything from therapy, shots twice in both feet, 8 different brands of shoes from Vionic, Therafit, Gravity Defyer, and several other brands. I am now having custom insoles made and considering shock therapy. Brooks Ghost has been the best shoe to use with the over the counter insoles, so I am going to use with the new custom insoles when they are completed.

I can't believe I didn't find these earlier. They were recommended by my Podiatrist and wow! I think everyone should try these. Excellent in comfort, support and freshness. Some things are too good to put into words. You just have to try them to believe how good they are.

Karrimor shoes have gone right downhill in recent years. They have gone from a well respected hiking brand to totally second-rate cheapo stuff. I still wear the shoes for day to day stuff as they are so cheap, and are good for normal walking over mixed terrain such as dog walking or going fishing. I would never ever consider these really for hiking though, if I climb anything remotely resembling a mountain I wear boots by a different brand. So Karrimor shes are good for the price if all you want to do is walk across fields etc.
HOWEVER this particular shoe is absolutely rubbish, not even close to karrimors distinctly lowered standards, they just are not fit for purpose. All the complaints about the laces are true, I have had these less than 3 months and although they have had lots of use, the wear is unacceptable. Both laces have snapped, something that has never happened to me before - the lacing system is just totally flawed and abraids the laces in a way that can't fail to destroy them. This is not about them needing to be broken in, I have done easily 150 miles in them and one of the soles is starting to come away, and the lacing just gets worse and worse. Add to this that hey are clumpy, heavy and uncomfortable compared to other karrimors I've had, and the only verdict I can give is just don't buy these.
Oh yeah, and the insoles gradually slip while you walk so tha tthey end up half way out of the shoe, so you have to remove them or glue them in. Totally inferior product. Just don't!

Crocs are amazing, I would not be able to work for 9 hours on my feet without my back hurting without wearing Crocs. I am 53 and work in a pub, when I haven't been able to wear my crocs I really suffer at the end of my shift
